Welcome to Rashmi College of Physiotherapy. Choosing physiotherapy means choosing a profession that changes lives in a very practical way: helping a stroke survivor walk again, an athlete return to the field, a child reach a milestone, or an older person live independently and without fear of falling.
India needs many more skilled physiotherapists, and nowhere more than in our rural communities. Kudligi and the surrounding districts deserve the same quality of rehabilitation care as our cities. That is why we teach here, and why we ask our students to carry their skills beyond the hospital, into primary health centres, schools, workplaces and homes.
Our Bachelor of Physiotherapy programme is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and follows the national competency-based curriculum of the NCAHP. You will study the human body in depth, practise in well-equipped laboratories, and meet patients from your first year. You will be assessed not only on what you know, but on what you can do safely and confidently.
We also expect a great deal from you: regular attendance, curiosity, honesty, teamwork and above all respect for every patient. Physiotherapy is a profession of hands, heads and hearts. Our faculty will guide you at every step, as teachers, mentors and fellow clinicians.
